Hi,

I have baught ZTE MG880 usb modem. I couldnot install it on my Linux
Desktop.
How to install this on Linux ? I am using FC-4. Please help..

You OS appears too old to detect this modem. The new distros can detect
it and using
'wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf' you can configure it.

check if you have cdc-acm driver. Afaik 2.6.17 and higher have it.
uname -a should tell u the kernel.

I'm on Ubuntu 7.04 and am not being able to configure the Reliance ZTE MG880
modem. Log messages show that the kernel is not being able to recognize the
device. What should I do -- any pointers?
